Brewpub Tours is the perfect combination of history, education, and BEER!

Our tours normally last 3-1/2 to 4 hours and comprise of sightseeing, beer education, beer sampling, and a deep dive into the growing craft beer scene in the Hershey area.

Our office hours are Monday through Sunday 10am to 4pm. During this time, our team members are available by phone to assist you any way we can.

Yes. You must be 21 or older, even with a Non-Inclusive ticket.  We ID! You must have a valid drivers license or valid state issued picture ID to board the shuttle bus. Not having proper ID will result in being denied admission onto the shuttle bus and forfeiture of your ticket purchase.

Tour prices may vary slightly depending on the tour, day of the week, and the season.  Please see our Tours page for tour prices and availability.

We also offer discounts for parties of 4 or more.

Brewpub Tours uses several third-party providers and platforms to process your reservations, take payment, and to make your experience with us as enjoyable and seamless as possible. 

All of these providers charge fees per transaction for the use of their platforms.  Instead of building these charges into the ticket price, we decided to list them separately at checkout so you can see what you are paying for.

Please note, unfortunately in most cases, Brewpub Tours is unable to refund booking fees in the event of a cancellation.

Our All-Inclusive Tours include:

• Comfortable round-trip transportation.
• Sightseeing tour of some of Hershey's interesting and historical sites.
• Interactive guide sharing in local history, beer education, and beer trivia.
• Stop at three unique, area craft brewpubs.
• Sample up to 12 of your favorite beer styles.*
• Behind-the-scenes access to the inner workings of their brewing process.
• Snacks along the way featuring local fare.
• Brewpub Tours and participating pub swag.

Please note, the All-Inclusive Tour price does not include tips for your bartenders or tour guides.  Please remember to bring cash if you wish to tip your helpful staff along the way.

*The number of samplings will be across all three stops.  They will be a mix of flights and full-pours, and will be a combination of your choice and hand-picked flavors.

Our Non-Inclusive Tours include everything as our All-Inclusive Tours, except for the beer sampling:

• Comfortable round-trip transportation.
• Tour of some of Hershey's interesting and historical sites.
• Interactive guide sharing in local history, beer facts, and beer trivia.
• Stop at three unique, area craft brewpubs.
• Behind-the-scenes access to the inner workings of their brewing process.
• Snacks along the way featuring local fare.
• Brewpub Tours and participating pub swag.

Non-Inclusive ticket holders will be responsible for buying their own beer alternatives (wine, mixers, soft drinks, water, etc.) at each stop.

Our shuttle busses currently do not have wheelchair lifts or ramps. However, there is plenty of room on the shuttle for folding wheelchairs, walkers, and other mobility devices. Please notate any special mobility needs you may have at checkout.  We will make every attempt to be sure all our tour stops are accessible for you. 

The tour shuttle picks up and drops off at the Park and Ride located at 2 W. 2nd Street,  Hummelstown, PA.  Our shuttle will arrive there 15 minutes before the tour begins and leave the parking lot promptly at the tour start time.  We recommend planning around your scheduled tour to make sure you arrive on time.

Because there will be beer sampling and alcohol consumption involved with the tour, Brewpub Tours strongly suggests being dropped off and picked up at our meeting location.  Alternatives would include Uber, Lyft, or having a designated driver. Please drink responsibly.

Yes.  We do offer pickup and drop-off services for area hotels.  These hotels are listed on our Lodging page and also at checkout.   Just choose your hotel pickup location when you finalize your purchase.  Additional fees may apply.

Unfortunately, we do not offer residential pickup or drop-off services at this time.

If you think your beer guide did a great job, then ABSOLUTELY!

While we do pay our wonderful staff for their services, tips are a big part of their income. May we suggest 15% to 20% of the purchase price per person (of course, you can always do more :)  You can also pre-pay tips for your Beer Guide at checkout.

Our tours run rain or shine, summer and winter.  There may be some time outside walking to our destinations from the shuttle.  Please dress for the weather, bring an umbrella if you wish, and wear comfortable closed-toed shoes.  Also, you will need a valid picture ID.

Other permissible items on the shuttle include:

• Plastic bottles of water or soft drinks
• Pre-packaged snack items
• Purses and small backpacks

Other things you'll want to bring:

• A great attitude
• A desire to learn about local history
• A taste for local beer and food
• Cash to tip your bartenders and your Brewpub tour guide!

If you want to participate in the behind-the-scenes portion of tour, then yes!

Closed-toed shoes will be required to tour the breweries as a safety and sanitary precaution.  If you arrive for the shuttle with any type of open-toed shoe you will still be permitted on the shuttle bus to tour the pubs and do the tastings, but will not be eligible to participate in touring the breweries.

Pets of any kind

Our brewpub partners do not allow pets on premise.  If you have a service animal, please contact us at least 48 hours before you would like to tour with us.  We will make every effort to make sure our tour partners can accommodate your needs.

Weapons

While Brewpub Tours recognizes the right to personal defense and safety, we also realize alcohol and weapons of any kind can be a bad mix.  So, please, just leave them behind.

Vaping and Smoking Products

While you can carry vaping, smoking, and tobacco products onto the shuttle bus, the use of any of these products on the bus is strictly prohibited.

Alcohol (open containers)

Alcohol consumption is not permitted on the shuttle bus.  All alcohol must be consumed on-premise while at each stop.  Of course, if you wish to purchase beer-to-go while on the tour, that is permitted but needs to remain unopened during the tour.

VIP's

If you or anyone in your party arrives to the shuttle as a Visibly Intoxicated Person, you will not be permitted to board and may forfeit your purchase without a refund.

Bad attitude and rude behavior

For the respect and enjoyment of all of our guests, Brewpub tours will not tolerate any rude speech or behavior during the tour.

Please remember, while we are out to have a good time, Brewpub Tours is NOT a drunk bus.  Please conduct yourself accordingly.  Brewpub Tours reserves the right to deny entry/re-entry to the shuttle for any reason and may result in the forfeiture of your purchase without refund.

If you're booking was successful, you should have received an email from Brewpub Tours containing your payment information, pickup and drop off locations, tour itinerary, and pertinent information about our policies.

If you didn't receive the email:

1.  Be sure to check your SPAM folder.

2.  If it's still not there, please contact us.

No.  We verify all of our attendees by picture ID.   Please arrive on-time at your pickup location with your valid picture ID handy.

You can reschedule or cancel your tour  at any time, up to 72 hours before the tour, for a full refund.  If you do not meet the 72 hour window, your purchase becomes non-refundable.

Brewpub Tours also offers Ticket Insurance* to allow better flexibility. For a small portion of the ticket price Ticket Insurance offers multiple benefits:

• Ticket Insurance allows you to reschedule or cancel, at any time for any reason, up to 3 hours before the tour.  Should you need to cancel, you can request to reschedule or a refund.** 

• Ticket Insurance also refunds your ticket price if Brewpub Tours cancels your tour date due to inclement weather.***

*Ticket Insurance can only be purchased when making your initial reservation, and cannot be added after the ticket purchase.

Non-Weather Related Cancellations

Brewpub Tours makes every attempt to keep all of our tours running on schedule all year round. However, there could be several non-weather related reasons why Brewpub Tours could cancel or alter a tour, including, but not limited to, not meeting minimum ridership or unforeseen circumstances such as a vehicle breakdown.

In the event Brewpub Tours needs to cancel a tour due to non-weather related circumstances, we will contact you as soon as possible to see if you want to reschedule or you can request a full refund.

Weather Related Cancellations

Brewpub Tours may also need to alter or cancel tours due to unsafe weather or road conditions. Please keep in mind, Brewpub Tours operates year round in all weather conditions, including rain and snow. as long as conditions are safe and our brewpub partners are open for business.

If weather conditions do warrant the need to alter or cancel a tour, we will make every effort to let you know ASAP about the alteration and to reschedule another upcoming tour for you.

• Should you decide not to reschedule your tour, you will be issued a raincheck for the value of your purchase, good for one year from date of issuance.

• If you purchased Ticket Insurance for your tour, you will have the option to reschedule or request a refund. **

Due to operating costs, Brewpub Tours will not typically conduct a tour with less than four guests.

The Hershey area offers a multitude of lodging options and alternatives.  Whether you're looking for an economy motel, a five star hotel, or even a campground, you're sure to find accommodations that fit your needs.  We also offer pickup and drop-off services for area hotels.  These hotels are listed on our Lodging page and also at checkout.   Just choose your hotel pickup location when you finalize your purchase.  Additional fees may apply.
